Registration is now live for the Spring 2023 April 21-23 Camping Trip at Flint River Lawhorn Camping Base's Camp Thunder area!!!

UPDATE! Everyone get ready for our annual Spring Campout!  We are scheduled to camp during the weekend of April 21-23 (Friday through Sunday) at Lawhorn Scouting Base - Camp Thunder. They are located about 2-hours south of us. 

Our February Pack Meeting will be our service project to support The Sandwich Project.  We'll be in the Simpsonwood UMC gym at 6:30.  Our goal is to make over 700 sandwiches that will go to the Eye Believe Foundation that serves 600+ meals daily to homeless people, veterans and other food insecure individuals (more info on The Sandwich Project and Eye Believe below).  To cover the costs of the food and supplies we are asking everyone to consider a $30/family donation that can be made to the pack via our paypal account (https://paypal.me/cubscoutpack525) or bring cash or check to the Pack meeting.

Come to Simpsonwood UMC on Sunday, Feb 12 to support our Chartered Organization on Scout Sunday.  They are looking for Scouts to be ushers, hand out programs, gather the collection, and more.  Simpsonwood UMC has 2 services: the Traditional Service is in the Chapel starting at 11:10am and the Contemporary Service is in the gym starting at 10:55.  If you would like to help then just show up 20-30 minutes early for an assignment.  If you have questions ahead of time then please reach out to John Evans or Steven Lang.  John will be the point person for the Traditional Service and Steven will be point for the Contemporary Service.
